Dinners for 75th Nation Day of China and 23rd anniversary of World Trade United Foundation was successfully held

Recently, the dinners for celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the 23rd anniversary of the World Trade United Foundation, cum the birthday of Dato’ Sri NG Tat-yung, SSAP was successfully held in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong successively. Officials from the embassies and consulates general of seven countries, including the United States, South Africa, Nigeria, Portugal, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Libya, came to offer congratulations. Dato’ Sri Prof. NG Tat-yung, SSAP, the founder of the Foundation, Datin Sri Dr. NG Tsz-yan, the chairperson of the Central Council of the Foundation, Hon. Dr. Starry LEE Wai-king, GBS, JP a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Hon. The Foundation has been internationally renowned for 23 years

Dato’ Sri Prof. NG Tat-yung, SSAP said that since its establishment, the World Trade United Foundation has always adhered to the mission of promoting international trade cooperation and promoting the sustainable development of the global economy. In the past 23 years, it has actively built an international exchange platform to promote trade and cultural exchanges between countries. By holding various international conferences, exhibitions and business activities, it provides enterprises with a broad space for cooperation and development opportunities.

Hon. TSE Wai-chun, JP said that since taking over as the Chairman of Executive Council of the Foundation in 2020, there have been challenges and gains along the way, and there are countless unforgettable memories. Many old friends here have gathered because of common beliefs and goals, accompanied the Foundation for more than ten or twenty years, witnessed the growth and development of the Foundation, and experienced ups and downs together. This long-term friendship is extremely precious. Thank you to everyone who has been through this journey together. With everyone’s support and dedication, the WTO Joint Fund will continue to grow and contribute to promoting global trade cooperation and promoting world peace and development.

In warm and solemn atmosphere, people from all walks of life gathered together to review the glorious history of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in the past 75 years and look forward to the future development prospects. The audience also extended highly of the contribution made by the World Trade United Foundation to promote international trade and promote sustainable development in the past 23 years.
